Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde to withdraw ARCHIMEDES (Md. Sameer) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from colic; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

STELLENBOSCH (L Prashant) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. T Natraj was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey Shiva Kumar, the rider of YOUNG GALLANT, reported that he accidentally lost his whip at the start.

Jockey N Ramesh Kumar, the rider of STARSTRUCK, was fined Rs.5,000/- for completely easing up his mount before passing the Winning Post, especially when his mount was involved in a very close finish.

Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was questioned regarding the reversal of form of STARSTRUCK (N Ramesh Kumar), the Winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.166 of the Mysore Races 2016, i.e., The K. Thammanna Gowda Memorial Cup (About) 1400 Metres, for Horses rated 20 to 45, confined to Mysore based horses, run on Twentieth Day, Sunday, 30th October, 2016, when ridden by the same Jockey, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows; a) This horse suffered an eye injury during the Mysore Summer Races 2016 and was treated for the same by the Club's Veterinary Officer; b) Thereafter, it had been running consistently and coming up; c) It ran a very close sixth in its last run; d) Prior to the above run, he had requested the Club's Veterinary Officer, permission to sport Hind Leg Bandages on his charge and was told to show it in a fast work, before they permit him to use them on his charge, which he had done; e) He had expected his charge to be in the frame, but his charge came out and won the Race. While noting his explanations, he was informed to he more consistent in the future running of his charges.

Jockey L Prashant, the rider of STELLENBOSCH, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the Race. He was informed in the presence of Trainer Mr. T Natraj that a similar manner of riding in future would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action. Trainer Mr. T Natraj was informed to be more careful as to the future running of his charges.

PASSING FULCRUM (Anil Baandal) sustained large bruises on left hind back of tendon.

ALPS (Keanen G Steyn) sustained small cut at left point of hip.

STARSTRUCK (N Ramesh Kumar) sustained injuries inside both hock.
