COSMIC FIELD (Dhanu Singh Deora),UNIVERSAL JOY(K Narender Kumar) & SMOKEY EYES (V S Gautam) were very fractious and refused to be loaded into the starting gates as such they were withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders. The concerned trainers were informed to improve their charges gates manners. In consequence of COSMIC FIELD being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order no deduction on win a deduction of 20% on place bets was effected.
Approaching the 700 mts Jockey S Lalit , the rider of BRILLANT RAJPUT checked his mount and observed to be running detached from the field. The horses was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that BRILLIANT RAJPUT broken its fetlock joint as such it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
Jockey Dashrath Singh the rider of MISS FERRARI was fined Rs.3000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race.(1st offence during the meeting)
Trainer Irfan Ali was called in and questioned regarding the in consistent pattern of running resulting thereby in the improved performance of his charge MISS FERRARI as compared to its last run in race No.128 on 20th December 2016 where it was unplaced when ridden by Jockey K Narender Kumar. The Trainer stated that:-
1. During its last run in race No.128 his jockey had reported that his mount was not galloping fluently during the race due to kick back from the track.
2. Thereafter he had given two track works to his charge wherein it performed well in the track and he was quite satisfied.
3. Today he had declared a superior jockey and his charge had just managed to win the race with the hard riding of Jockey Dashrath Singh and using the whip excessively.
4. Today it had to travel extra 200 mts and there is no common runners.
While noting his explanations, he was informed of his responsibility to inform the officials, which could have bearing on the running of his charge.
The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that DANCE OF DESTINY returned lame on right fore during the race. Trainer Shakti Singh was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.
Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner MISS FERRARI in the presence of Trainer Irfan Ali and sent for analytical test.
