TIBIDABO (Nelson Maseyk) which was fractious in its stall was slow to begin.

ALTUS (Nirmal Jodha) was extremely fractious while being stalled. In view of its behavior Tr. Adhirajsingh Jodha was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work. Jockey Nelson Maseyk, the rider of TIBIDABO, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).
