Racing Incidents

INDUS PRINCE (Sandeep Rajput) was fractious while being stalled.

LEGENDE INDIENNE (Surjeet Singh) and CACHAREL (Arman Khan) were slow to begin.

Approaching the 700 metres in a tightly packed field BACAARDI (Dashrath Singh) was checked by its rider to avoid running into the heels of INDUS PRINCE (Sandeep Rajput).

Trainer Mr. Vinay Lagad when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge ch g RED BUG as compared to its previous outing in Race No. 94, stated that the following factors were advantageous to the gelding :-

a) The change of equipment i.e., BLINKERS ‘ON’.

b) Drop in Class i.e., 21-46 as compared to 41-66 in Race No. 94.

c) The winner of the 8th of the Day, i.e., JACKNIFE had just finished ahead of RED BUG in Race No. 94.

d) There was no common horse between Race Nos. 113 & 94.

The Stipendiary Stewards accepted the trainer’s explanation.
