Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw SAGA (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be injured with inflammation on right hock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Keanen G Steyn, the rider of FJORD reported that his mount hung out and took out horses on his outside viz; FLOTUS (Prashant P.Dhebe) and WREKIN (R. Praveen Shinde) passing the 800 Meters. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to be lame on left fore, sustained superficial injury on left fore cannon, right hind fetlock, gum injuries and endoscopy (Grade – IV) it had burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Darius R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Adarsh G., the rider of CAPITALIZE reported that he momentarily lost his reins, which he regained within a few strides, passing the 350 Meters.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of NATANZA was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the last 100 Meters of the race.
