KING SMILE (Sai Kiran) fell while being saddled and upon examination, it was observed to be trotting lame on right hind; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders; Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer of the Club before accepting with it again.
 
KIR ROYALE (S Mubarak) was examined at the Gates and observed to be trotting lame on left hind; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders; Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of CHICACO, reported that the saddle shifted back, passing the 400 Metres and that thereafter, he could not offer any assistance to his mount; After examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence.
