Racing Incidents

VIA AMORIS, CORIOLIS, SILK BABY & FIREBRAND were permitted to be withdrawn.

Trainer Fazal - Ul - Rehman was fined a sum of Rs. 3000/ - (this being his second such offence) for parading his charge MAGNIFICENC E with a BLINKER equipment for which prior permission was not obtained.The equipment was subsequently removed before the horse left the paddock.

MAGNIFICENCE ( Indrajeet Kumar ) planted, SSC Revoked. Trainer Fazal - Ul - Rehman was asked to show his charge at the gates to the satisfaction of the Starter before accepting with it again.

It was observed that after the jump out Apprentice Jockey Altaf Hussain the rider of CROWN OF STARS lost his right iron stirrup which he regained after travelling about 100 mtrs.

MASTER ZIDANE (Irshad Alam) was slow to start losing about 2 to 3 lengths. Jockey A.Imran Khan the r ider of DEL SANTO reported poor visisbility due to kickback from the front runners due to which he could not do justice to his mount.

FREE SPEECH ( Md.Muzaff ar Alam ) pulled up lame after the race (right fore sprained fetlock joint). Trainer P.Krishna was advised to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Senior Veterinary Officer before accepting with it.
