Racing Incidents

KEFIRA (Mohit Singh) and OPTIMUM (P S Chouhan) were fractious while being stalled.

STELVIO PASS (A Sandesh) and DEMONSTRATE (Neeraj Rawal) were fractious in their respective stalls.

DAKSHESH (App Hasib Alam) and MIDNIGHT MAGIC (Hindu Singh) were slow to begin.

App Hasib Alam, the rider of DAKSHESH, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for shifting ‘inwards’ passing the 400 metres when not adequately clear of the other runner namely OPTIMUM causing its Jockey P S Chouhan to check his mount and lose some ground.

Jockey Afzal Khan, the rider of SCORPION QUEEN, when questioned as to why he dropped his hands passing the distance post, stated that the mare seemed to be chocking as such he eased his mount. Tr. Jasbir Singh was advised to get his charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and report ailment, if any.

ART DECO (App Aditya Kr. Jaiswal) finished the race detached from the field. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

The Veterinary Officer reported that KEFIRA returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
