Racing Incidents

At the request of Trainer Sanjay Kolse, MONK was examined at 1030 hours on 19/02/2019 for fever and was found to have congested mucous membranes with dull appearance. Subsequently, the gelding was treated for fever. The gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the gelding from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, BELENUS (Robbie Downey, dr.2) jumped outwards and made contact BELGRAVIA (P. Trevor, dr.3) forcing it outwards on to C’EST L’AMOUR (N. S. Parmar, dr.4), who in turn shifted out and made contact with DANCE SMARTLY (Amyn Merchant, dr.5).
 
After the race, DANCE SMARTLY was trotted and found to be sound.
