As Jockey Shezad Khan was declared medically unfit to ride, Tr. Shyam S Habbu was permitted to substitute Jockey Ajeet Kumar to ride his charge SPEAR OF TRIUM.

Jockey P S Chouhan, the declared rider of b g OTHELLO, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for failing to ride to his declared weight. Subsequently Tr. Shafiq Khan was permitted to replace Jockey P S Chouhan with Jockey Dhanu S Deora to ride his charge OTHELLO.

ch g SUMMERHILL (Suraj Narredu) was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Shyam S Habbu was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
 
KNIGHTHOOD (Vinay Jaiswal) and FAR SIGHT (Mohit Singh) were slow to begin.

Jockey Dhanu S Deora, the rider of OTHELLO, reported that his mount which was slow to begin, was reluctant to raise a fluent gallop in the early stages of the race. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

The Veterinary Officer reported that MARBELLA returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. H S Bath was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
