It was reported after the race that HABANERO(K. Raja Rao) had apparently lost its left fore shoe during the race. 

HABANERO(K.Raja Rao) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

An enquiry was held on 17-6-2019 by the Stipendiary Stewards into the interference caused by Jockey K. Raja Rao on his mount HABANERO in that he shifted ‘in’ sharply under the use of whip and caused interference to REVAN STAR (Chetan Kalay. S) on his inside along the rails approaching 250 Metres and there after he did not maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race. Jockey K. Raja Rao was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey K. Raja Rao and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race charged Jockey K. Raja Rao for careless riding for contravention of Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Stipendiary Stewards the reafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to K. Raja Rao with effect from 2762019 to 3062019(both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount HABANERO(he is permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal).
