As Jockey P Trevor, the declared rider of AUSTRALIS, was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the Fifth Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Narredu to substitute Jockey T S Jodha to ride AUSTRALIS, in place of the declared rider. 

Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji (being deputised by Trainer Mrs. Parvati Byramji) was fined Rs.5,000/- for discrepancies in shoeing, in respect of his charge, STARRY WIND (S Zervan).

STARRY WIND (S Zervan) jumped awkwardly `outwards' thereby inconveniencing IMITATION GAME (M Madhu Babu), on its outside, at the start.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of WILD WILD ANGELS was fined Rs.1,000/-  for shifting `in' and causing interference to MASADA (Arshad Alam), on his inside, as a result of which, the latter had to be checked by its rider approaching the 600 meters.

Jockey P P Dhebe, the rider of REANNA reported that his mount was hanging `in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but it was reported that it could not be examined due to the fractious behaviour of the horse. However, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to take appropriate corrective emasures before accepting with it, again.

Routine sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m AUSTRALIS.
