CHAMAREL (Janardhan Paswan) was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order, as the filly was extremely fractious at the gates and refused to be stalled at the Starting Gate. Trainer Mr. D Prashanth Pawar was advised to give adequate Gate Practice to his charge.

SADAQAT (S Antony Raj) jumped awkwardly `outwards' at the start.

Jockey Nirmal Jodha, the rider of ENGELBERG was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting `out' and causing intereference to SADAQAT (S Antony Raj) on his outside approaching 300 metres.

Jockey S Antony Raj, the rider of SADAQAT, was questioned in the presence of Trainer, Mr. Azhar Ali, as to his riding on his mount, in the above Race. The Rider reported that he was drawn on the outside and as he tried to take a good position, he was repeatedly taken out by ENGELBERG (Nirmal Jodha), from the 1000 Metres till rounding the final bend. When he tried to make his run, on the outside, he was again interfered by the same horse and as such his run was hampered. The Trainer corroborated with the statements of the rider. While noting their explanation, Jockey S Antony Raj was informed to be more judicious while riding out his mounts, particularly in the Straight and he was informed that a repetition of a similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards, for appropriate action.
