Racing Incidents

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of PAPADOKIA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and taking out AURELIA (P Kiran Rai), on his outside, passing the 200 Metres.

It was observed in the race that the saddle of AURELIA (P Kiran Rai) shifted slightly back, in the straight. After the due examination of the equipment which was in serviceable condition, no action was taken besides noting the incident.

Jockey Shamaz Shareef, the rider of CLASS ABOVE, reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight and was also not galloping fluently. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath M was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
