Racing Incidents

ARROGANCE (Yash Narredu) jumped awkwardly outwards.

SAVISA  (Shamaz   Shareef)   jumped   out   awkwardly   and inconvenienced ANNALEASE (S.Mubarak) at the start.

An enquiry was held on 20th December, 2020 by the Stipendiary Steward for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey S. Imran, the rider of AEROSPEED in that he shifted 'in' and caused severe interference to ECO BONITA (N. B. Kuldeep) on his inside, whereby NERVA (M. Prabhakaran) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider to avoid clipping the front runner, whereby his mount stumbled totally unbalancing its rider passing the 900 Metres and he further shifted 'in' and caused interference to FIERCE FIGHTER (A.Imran Khan) approaching 700 Metres.

Jockey S. Imran was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey S. Imran and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey S. Imran for Careless Riding.

The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to S. Imran with effect from 1st January, 2021 to 25th January, 2021 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount AEROSPEED (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

Jockey S. Imran, the rider of AEROSPEED was reprimanded for not wearing the goggles during the race.

It was reported after the race that NERVA (M. Prabhakaran) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade IV) and also sustained bleeding cut injury on right fore outer bulb. Trainer Mr.Neil Darashah was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was  reported  after  the  race  that  PHOENIX  REACHED  (Akshay  Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr.M. Rajendra Singh was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ANAKIN.
