Racing Incidents

At the start, JUNGLE WAVE (App Ishwar Singh) jumped out awkwardly.

Passing 1200 meters, JUNGLE WAVE (App Ishwar Singh) shifted in and made contact with COUP DE FOUDRE and was itself turned sidewise. App Jockey Ishwar Singh has been fined Rs.2,000/- and cautioned for the future.

App Ishwar Singh (JUNGLE WAVE) was questioned regarding his riding on his mount. He stated that his mount became very keen during the race and took a big break from the field and the mare fizzled out in the straight. The race was viewed and it was pointed out that he had allowed his mount to take a big leadand there was no real effort on his part to control the mare, so much so that she had fizzled out in the straight. Trainer Ajay Sharma stated that he was disappointed in the manner the Apprentice had ridden the mare. He opined that the Apprentice has allowed the mare race freely. In view of the above, App Ishwar Singh has been fined Rs.3,000/- for Injudicious Riding on his mount, considering that he was still an Apprentice and also giving weightage that he had not ridden the mare earlier, either in a race or at Work.
