Racing Incidents

Jockey Suraj Narredu was declared to ride STOCKBRIDGE.
 
CHARMING STAR (J.Chinoy) jumped outwards brushing the gate due to which the Jockey lost his left stirrup which he regained shortly. Thereafter,  the colt  did not raise an effective gallop. In view of above, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give the colt more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
In the process of stalling, STOCKBRIDGE  (Suraj Narredu) reared up and fell backward. The colt was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified him fit to race.
 
At the start, HELLBENT (T.S.Jodha, dr.9) jumped outwards on to EASY RIDER (K.Nazil, dr.10).
 
After the race, Jockey K Nazil (EASY RIDER) reported that the saddle on his mount had shifted forward as such he was unable to ride out and eased up at the 600 metres. Trainer Nosher Cama has been fined Rs.2,000/-  for faulty saddling of his charge.
 
After the race, STOCKBRIDGE and EASY RIDER were trotted and found to be sound.
