Racing Incidents

Jockey S. Hussain, the rider of AEROSPEED placed 2nd by the judge objected against Jockey Arul J.H, the rider of SILVERITA placed 1st for "In the last 100 Metres the winner shifted out and cut across me and also bumped me which cost me a certain race." The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey Arul J.H, the rider of SILVERITA was fined Rs.5,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 50 Metres of the race, thereby inconveniencing AEROSPEED (S. Hussain) on his outside.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SILVERITA.
