Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Sharat Kumar to withdraw FLAMING ORANGE (Naveen M.) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

COUNTRY'S JEWEL (M. Prabhakaran) bolted after pre race weighing, ran rider less on tar road and apprehended near the trainer's stable and observed that half of the right fore shoe was lost, damaging the inside hoof wall. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr.Dheeraj.V was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

INFINITE SPIRIT (V.R.Jagadeesh) ran detached from the field. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of STAR DOMINATION was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
