OSCAR (K Narender Kr) was very fractious while being loaded and as such was withdrawn before coming under starter's orders. Trainer SM Abbas has to be asked to give sufficient gate practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race.

In the final stages of the race, MISS ENABLE (SG Prasad) was steadied due to FARGO (S Amjad Khan) shifting out.

A Steward's Enquiry was held, after the race, as the Clerk of the Scales reported that Jockey Abdul Fazal (DARJEELING), Placed IV, by the Judge had failed to weigh-in.

The Stewards having heard the submission made by Jockey Abdul Fazal, and having heard the submissions of the Stipendiary Stewards, decided to disqualify DARJEELING and revised the Order of Placing for the race as under:

GOLDEN GUINEA    -    First;    
FARGO    -    Second;
MISS ENABLE    -    Third;
DARING    -    Fourth.

Jockey Abdul Fazal was fined Rs.5,000/- for failing to weigh-in on a Placed horse.

After the race, CASH IN HAND was found to be lame by its left-fore leg. Trainer Shakti Singh has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

After the race, MISS ENABLE was found to be sound.
