THE GOLDEN DREAM (Naveen Kumar. V) dropped the rider on the way to the starting gates, bolted, ran rider less and galloped for  almost 2000 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer, it was found to be exhausted. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

FORTY NINER (Tousif Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced STAR ADMIRAL (L. Alex Rozario) soon after the start.

It was observed that APPSARA (K.G. Likith Appu) accidently brushed the running rails passing the 1000 Metres.

It was observed that SCARLET IBIS (A.R.Pradeep) was running green throughout the race. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

FORTY NINER (Tousif Khan) sustained superficial cut injury on right fore cannon and fetlock.

THE GREY GERANIUM (Chandrashekar M) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

An enquiry was held on 18/12/2022 by the Stipendiary Steward for the above race with respect to the riding of Jockey Chandrashekar .M, the rider of THE GREY GERANIUM in the above race “Wherein he allowed his mount to travel wide from 800 Metres till about 500 Metres for no apparent reason and for not infusing adequate vigour in riding out his mount in the final 400 Metres.”
Jockey Chandrashekar .M was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Chandrashekar .M and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey Chandrashekar .M for Incompetent Riding.

The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Chandrashekar .M with effect from 28-12-2022 to 31-12-2022 (Both days inclusive) for Incompetent Riding under Rule No. 161 (ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount THE GREY GERANIUM (he is permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g THE RESPONSE.
