It was observed that D UNITED (Mukesh Kumar) drifted out alarmingly despite the best efforts of the Jockey to keep it on an even course passing the 900 Metres and went onto the outer sand track and finished the race on the outer sand track thereafter. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and it was reported by the Club’s Veterinary Officer after the race that it had pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Monnappa C D was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

THALAIVAA (M Prabhakaran) ran detached from the field throughout the race. Trainer Mr. Ashiwn S Rao was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
 
At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, a Stewards enquiry was held as the rider of RUNNING BOLT (K Sai Kiran), placed fourth by the Judge, failed to “Weigh In”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the above Race and examined Jockey K Sai KIran. After due deliberations, the Stewards, citing Rule No. 178 (a) of the Mysore Race Club Limited Rules of Racing, decided to disqualify ch f RUNNING BOLT from the above Race and revised the Order of Placings as under;

Jockey K Sai Kiran was fined Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) by the Stewards for his negligence in failing to perform the post race “Weighing In” formalities, in the above Race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MOONLIGHT QUEEN.
