It started to rain immediately after the conclusion of the 3rd Race and continued to do so.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Monnappa C D to withdraw FACETS OF LIFE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

It was observed that the saddle on IMPERIUS (Sah Farid Ansari) shifted front passing the 800 Metres as such the rider had to remove both his legs from the stirrups passing the 600 Metres. After due examination of the equipment which was found to be in serviceable condition, Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath M was fined Rs.3,000/- for this lapse. 

Jockey K Sai Kiran, the rider of IRON CLAD was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason. 

An objection was lodged by Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of STAR JEWEL placed Fourth by the Judge against Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of STEP UP GIRL placed First by the Judge for, “Inside the last furlong the winner STEUP UP GIRL ridden by A Ayaz Khan bumped me outside where my mount which was in full flight got unbalanced which cost me a certain race.” The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After due deliberations and after repeatedly watching the CCTV replay of the Race, the Stewards decided to Overrule the objection.

Jockey V R Jagadeesh, the rider of ASTROLOGER was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to STEP UP GIRL (A Ayaz Khan) on his outside which in turn passed it onto STAR JEWEL (Arshad Alam) approaching the 250 Metres.

It was reported after the race that INFINITEPOSSIBILITY (P Kiran Rai) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. Girinath C was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
