Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of DEVILS MAGIC was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping the horses on his outside viz; SLAINTE (S. Saba), KENSINGTON COURT (A.Ramu) and MONTELENA (S. Saqlain) at the start.

Jockey Abhay Singh, the rider of BRILLIANT STAR reported that his mount was inclined to run out from 900 Metres till about 600 Metres.

Jockey Hindu Singh, the rider of DEDICATE was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to LAUTERBRUNNEN (Angad) on his inside passing the 700 Metres.

SLAINTE (S. Saba) sustained superficial injury on inside and outside of left hind cannon.

An enquiry was held on 18th June, 2023 by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey N.R.Santosh Raj, the rider of RIVAL in the above race. In that he shifted 'in' sharply and caused severe interference to KENSINGTON COURT (A.Ramu), which in turn passed it onto DEVILS MAGIC (Akshay Kumar) on his inside approaching 900 Metres.

Jockey N.R.Santosh Raj was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey N.R.Santosh Raj and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey N.R.Santosh Raj for Careless Riding.
 
The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to N.R.Santosh Raj from 1st July, 2023 to 2nd July, 2023 (Both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount RIVAL (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
