N R I VICTORY (Anil Baandal) bolted on its way to the Starting Gate dislodging its rider. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.  

HIGHLAND DREAM (P Sai Kumar) jumped out awkwardly and bumped SHEROUK (S Antony Raj) on its outside, at the start.

Jockey T Pavan, the rider of FIRE BOLT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in’ and causing interference to CALYPSO KING ( R N Darshan), on his outside, which went onto N R I ACE (Arshad Alam) on its outside at the Start. 

Jockey P Sai Kumar, the rider of HIGHLAND DREAM, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to FERONIA (P Ajeeth Kumar), on his inside, passing the 1000 Metres.

FIRE BOLT (T Pavan) got keen and was about to collide with the front runners and as such was shifted out by its rider, due to which the horse stumbled and dislodged its rider. Thereafter, NOBLE PURSUIT (G Manikandan) travelling directly behind, collided with the fallen horse and went down, dislodging its rider. 

At the behest of the Stewards, an enquiry was ordered and held, in particular reference to the above mentioned fall of the horses, viz., FIRE BOLT (T Pavan) and NOBLE PURSUIT (G Manikandan). After due enquiry and after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the above Race, the Stewards, applying their minds, decided that the fall of the above riders was purely accidental and decided not to alter the Judges Placings of the above Race.    

FERONIA (P Ajeeth Kumar) sustained superficial clipped injury on left hind outer cannon.
