Racing Incidents
VANDAN (Rajesh K) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the Start and thereafter, ran detached from the field, throughout the Race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future and not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out, on a Starting Gate Practice Day. QUEVEGA (P Kiran Rai) accidentally brushed the Railings, passing the 1300 Metres. Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of QUEVEGA, was reprimanded for not showing enough vigour in riding out his mount, in the closing stages of the Race. It was reported after the Race that NISHK (Prabhu Kumar M) had apparently lost its left hind shoe, during the Race.
