Racing Incidents

STAR ADMIRAL (Vinod Shinde) walked out of the gates and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy (deputising on behalf of Trainer Mr. Aravind G.) was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

PROPHECY (S. Saqlain) jumped awkwardly onto RIVER OF GOLD (P. Mani) soon after the start.

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Ganesh Shingade, the rider of EXTRAORDINARY in the above race. In that “soon after the start he caused interference to INDIAN BLUES (Faiz) and again he shifted ‘in’ exercising no control over his mount approaching 1100 Metres, whereby he allowed his mount to shift ‘in’ and caused severe interference to PROPHECY (S. Saqlain),  which  in  turn  passed  it  onto  the  horses  on  his  inside viz; LAUTERBRUNNEN (Rajesh Kumar M) and MAZAL TOV (Akshay Kumar)”.

Jockey Ganesh Shingade was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Ganesh Shingade and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey Ganesh Shingade for Careless Riding.

The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Ganesh Shingade for three (3) race days of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2024- 25 i.e., 23/11/2024, 29/11/2024 & 30/11/2024 as he had pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount EXTRAORDINARY (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

It was reported after the race that ANZAC PIPERNAL (S. Hussain) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr.S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that INDIAN BLUES (Faiz) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr.Narayana Gowda V. was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
