Jockey Shreyas Singh S, the rider of IL VOLO reported that his mount was hanging out from the 900 Metres till about 500 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to have bit sore on both oral commissure and sustained superficial clip injury on right fore cannon.

It was observed that Jockey Rayan Ahmed R., the rider of ART GALLERY did not get a clear run between 250 Metres to 200 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Trainer Mr. Darius R. Byramji and Jockey P. Trevor were questioned regarding the running and riding of ELFIN KNIGHT in the above race. The trainer stated that:

a)    He had instructed the rider to ride from a forward position and do his best in the straight.
b)    He had applied for Cross Nose Band after its run in the Hyderabad Derby where it was throwing its head up and not settling in a race;
c)    His charge gradually improved from the 600 Metres despite the efforts of the Jockey it could only obtained a 3rd place.
 
The Jockey while corroborating the statements of the trainer informed that his mount did not show initial speed as such he could not ride from a forward position.

Their explanations were noted for future reference.

ELFIN KNIGHT (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

AHERNE (Darshan R.N) sustained injury on right nostril. Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b g ELFIN KNIGHT.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f AQUASTIC.
