Jockey M Chandrashekar, the declared rider of AARADHANA, was fined Rs.2,000/- for failing to make the required weight, after having accepted to ride, in the above Race and as no suitable rider was available, permission was granted to Trainer, Mr. Bipin V Salvi to withdraw AARADHANA (M Chandrashekar) from the above race. 

Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider for BRILLIANT LIGHT was reprimanded for looking back in the closing stages of the race.

The Stipendiary Stewards questioned Jockey Anil Baandal, in the presence of his trainer, Mr. Surender G T pertaining to his riding on his mount WORLDLY WISE, trained by the latter, in the above Race. Not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by them, the Stipendiary Stewards decided as follows;

a) To fine Jockey Anil Baandal a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) for riding his mount, WORLDLY WISE, in check, during the early stages of the race and for allowing the frontrunners to take an unduly long lead, thus leaving himself a lot to do, in the closing stages of the Race and thereafter, for not making sufficient effort to vigourously ride out his mount, after entering the straight;

b) Jockey Anil Baandal was informed to be more judicious while riding his mounts in future, and that a repeat of a similar manner of riding in future, would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action;

c) To fine Trainer Mr. Surender G T, a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) for the unsatisfactory explanations tendered by him during the Enquiry. 

It was reported after the Race that BRILLIANT LIGHT (P Kiran Rai) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Ramesh S was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer, before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m BRILLIANT LIGHT.
