At the start, ASHWA KANGNA (Riazuddin) was slowly away.

Jockey M Shahid (OSIBISA) was fined Rs.5,000/- for cutting across the field soon after the start and inconvenienced PERSONAL (Akash Rajput), ALEXA (Shivam) and ASHWA BINACA (R Parvesh).

On being questioned regarding running and riding of LAST ROMANCE Trainer Raj Kumar Saini stated that he had instructed the rider to sit 4/5/6th and do his best in the straight and he was satisfied with his riding.

Jockey Rajinder Saini confirmed the instructions and said that his mount could not keep up to the pace of the race as instructed and while negotiating the bend he felt that his mount was not comfortable although he did his best.

Not being satisfied with their explanation both were presented before the Stewards.

The stewards interviewed Trainer Raj Kumar Saini and Jockey Rajinder Saini and after hearing submissions made by the Stipendiary Stewards and viewing the replay of the race they held them guilty of Unsatisfactory running and riding and decided:

1.    To fine Trainer Raj Kumar Saini a sum of Rs 20000/-for unsatisfactory explanation regarding running of his charge.

2.    To suspend Jockey Rajinder Saini license from 31st Dec to 21st January 2025 (Both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding.

3.    They were cautioned for future and informed of their right to appeal.

Veterinary examination of LAST ROMANCE revealed no apparent abnormality.
