SEA BLUSH (Vivek) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its repeated behaviour, Trainer Mr. Umar Shariff. S was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least two Mock Races.

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the excessive use of whip by Jockey P. Trevor on his mount MICHIKO (3rd infringement) in the above race, thereby Contravening the B.T.C Calendar Notification under the heading “USE OF WHIP”.

“In that:(a) He used the whip in excess in the above race i.e., Race No. 99 of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2024-25, on his mount MICHIKO, this being the (3rd offence) during the season; (b) He used the whip in excess in Race No.11 of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2024-25, on his mount IRON KING (1st offence); (c) He used the whip in excess in Race No.81 of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2024-25, on his mount TREASURE CHEST (2nd offence).

The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey P.

Trevor and after viewing the CCTV replay of the races decided as follows:

(a)    To suspend the Jockey’s licence granted to Jockey P. Trevor for two (2) race days of BWM 2024-25 i.e.,31/01/2025 and 07/02/2025 for Contravention of B.T.C Calendar Notification under the heading “USE OF WHIP” (He is permitted to ride work).
 
(b)    He was informed of his right to appeal.
