Racing Incidents

At the start, MORISEIKI (App. Shivam) was slowly away.

At the start, PEACEFUL (Jai Parkash) took an awkward jump.

At the start, CASHIER (Sameer Qureshi) took a fly jump and lost about two lengths.
 
On being questioned regarding running and riding of CASHIER Jockey Sameer Qureshi stated that he tried to follow the instructions but since he was riding after two years he couldn’t do justice to his mount. Trainer Shakti Singh expressed his displeasure with jockey’s riding. Both were reported to the Stewards.

After the last race the Stewards interviewed Trainer Shakti Singh and jockey Sameer Qureshi and after viewing replay of the race and considering submission made by the Stipendiary Stewards they were of the opinion that the rider was guilty of Incompetent riding wherein his riding was not of acceptable standard and they decided:

To suspend jockey Sameer Qureshi license for four race day w.e.f 18.02.2025 to 09.03.2025 (both days inclusive) and to participate in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary stewards. (Permitted to ride work)
