Jockey Aleemuddin, the rider of SPRINGSTEEN reported that he could not get a clear run in the final 100 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey Aleemuddin, the rider of SPRINGSTEEN was fined Rs.2,000/- for weighing 'in' 800 grams excess in relation to weighing out.
 
At  the  behest  of  the  Stipendiary  Stewards,  the  Stewards  held  an enquiry immediately after the race and examined Jockeys A.Ramu (OXYTOCIN), P. Trevor  (CLASSIC  CHARM),  David  Allan  (PRIME  ABBESS),  Akshay Kumar (SOUTHERN FORCE) and V.R.Jagadeesh (BREEZE BLUSTER). After deliberations, in terms of Rule No.160 of the BTC Rules of Racing they decided to disqualify OXYTOCIN (A. Ramu) from the above race and the revised order of placings are as under:-

SPRINGSTEEN    III
SUPER MARVELLA    IV
SOUTHERN FORCE    V

An enquiry is being held into the interference caused by Jockey A.Ramu, the rider of OXYTOCIN to PRIME ABBESS (David Allan) which in turn passed it onto CLASSIC CHARM (P. Trevor) along the rails totally unbalancing Jockey P. Trevor, SOUTHERN FORCE (Akshay Kumar) and BREEZE BLUSTER (V.R.Jagadeesh) which were travelling directly behind also had to be checked by their respective riders and shift out to avoid striking the front runner approaching 800 Metres.

OXYTOCIN (A.Ramu) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g LAUTERBRUNNEN.
