Racing Incidents

An enquiry has been opened into the improved performance of KAFTAN.

On being questioned, regarding running and riding of CLETUS Trainer S M Abbas stated that he had instructed the rider to sit 4th / 5th and do his best in the straight and he was satisfied with the performance of the horse. Jockey MB Qureshi confirmed the instructions and said that he has done his best. Their explanation were noted.
 
After the race, MAYA was found to be lame by its left fore leg. Trainer K Ali Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

Veterinary examination of KIEF & FRANCO revealed no apparent abnormality.
