Racing Incidents

At the start, ZUCARDI (R N Manjhi) was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order as the mare refused to be loaded. Trainer Zulfiqar Khan has been asked to give gate practice and show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the starter before accepting next to race.

At the start, ATTENBOROUGH (R Rakesh) was slowly away.

Jockey R Rakesh (ATTENBOROUGH) has been fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting IN in the final stages of the race and inconvenienced MASTER CAUSEWAY (Rajinder Saini).

An enquiry has been opened into running and riding of ATTENBOROUGH.

Trainer S Nawab was questioned regarding improved performance of ASHWA MARIYA (A S Peter) within a short span of 10 days as compared to her previous run in Race No.196 run on 7th April 2025. Not being satisfied with the explanation of the Trainer he was fined Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Racing Calendar Notification.

Veterinary examination of MASTER CAUSEWAY & ATTENBOROUGH revealed no apparent abnormality.
