Racing Incidents

VERRAZZANO (Suraj Narredu) was squeezed between HONEYPOT (Angad) and SOUTHERNARISTOCRAT (C.Umesh) at the start.

Jockey Angad, the rider of HONEYPOT was fined Rs.3,000/- for repeatedly checking his mount from the start till about 700 Metres for no apparent reason.

Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of MARTHA reported that his mount was not striding out well during the race as such he had to stop riding in the final 150 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of VERRAZZANO reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Shivam, the rider of ICE STORM reported that he accidently lost his whip passing the 400 Meters.

Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of ROYAL WHISPER was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
