Racing Incidents

After the last race, Jockey Shivam (SHE’S A BEAUTY) was reported to the stewards for his careless riding wherein he continued to shift IN before the red marker due to which PROPERLY POSH (Deepak Kumar) who was travelling on his inside had to shift IN onto ADBHUT (R. Rakesh) who further went onto DANNY’S GIRL (App.

Vishal) who received a severe interference and had to check his mount to avoid clipping. The Stewards interviewed Jockey Shivam and after considering recommendation of the Stipendiary Stewards they held Jockey Shivam guilty of careless riding and decided to:

Suspend his jockey license for 2 race days w.e.f. 5th Jan 2026 to 13th Jan 2026 (both days inclusive).

Jockey Mohit Singh (BIG DECISION) was severely reprimanded for not improving his position in the initial part of the race.

After the race, PROPERLY POSH was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not fit to race for a stipulated period of 4 weeks. Trainer Ajay Sharma has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.
