Racing Incidents

At the start, MR. CHRISTOPHER (Jai Prakash) took a flying jump & lost about two lengths.

At the start, MASTER TORNADO (Riazuddin) lost about two lengths.

At the start, HEER (K. Sunny Kumar) lost about four lengths. Trainer AjaySharma has been asked to givegate practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before accepting next to race.

SHE’S A BEAUTY (G S Shekhawat) drifted out at about 700 meters and thereafter travelled wide out. Trainer R. Kumar was asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfactionof the Stipendiary Stewards.

Jockey R. Rakesh (WINNING LEGACY) was reprimanded for travelling on the outside for no apparent reason.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Shivam (CHIEFTAIN) placed 4th by the judge against Jockey Arjun (BAHADUR) placed 1stbythe judge “forcoming in sharply, cutting across at 700 meters and taking his ground. Thereby his mount broke its stride and had to check his mount to avoid clipping the heels of the winner, due to which he could not ride out momentarily and that cost him a certain race.

The Stewards interviewed the jockey concerned and having heard the submission made by the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their own judgement of the race the Stewards decided to overrule the objection.

Veterinary examination of SHE’S A BEAUTYrevealed noapparent abnormality.
