Racing Incidents

Veterinary Officer of the Club reported that COUNTRY MAGIC was examined on 19th April 2026 at 09:25 am and was found to be lame by right foreleg, as such was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mohsin Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

On being questioned Trainer Ajay Sharma stated that he had instructed the rider to sit 3rd 4th and do his best in the straight. He also stated that he was not satisfied with his riding. Jockey Jai Prakash confirmed the instructions and submitted that since the race was fast he could not cope up with the field. However he has no plausible explanation for restraining his mount upto 700 meters.

Not being satisfied with his explanation. Jockey Jai Prakash (SUPER SPEED) was fined Rs. 20,000/- for his unsatisfactory riding.
