Racing Incidents

MYSTICAL AIR (Shreyas Singh S) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Trainer Mr.Irfan Ghatala and Jockey Suraj Narredu were questioned regarding the running and riding of SUNSHINE in the above race.

The trainer stated as follows:-

1) His charge was running after long time as such it needed this run.

2) AQUASTIC had the benefit of running with better horses. Today it hit the front and went on to win the race.

3) Despite the rider of his charge asking for an effort, the horse did not get up at all and was galloping there and there only without showing any improvement to pick up pace at all.

Jockey corroborated the statements of the trainer and their explanations were noted for future reference.
