PHOENIX GOLD (Afsar Khan) was examined in the Paddock by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to have large ulcer on left oral commissure. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Orders. Trainer Mr. Bipin V. Salvi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Trainer Mr. Bipin V. Salvi was fined Rs.10,000/- for his negligence in discharge of his duties as a trainer wherein he presented his charge PHOENIX GOLD in an unfit condition to run in the above race.

ELSA (M.S. Deora) jumped awkwardly outwards at the Start and despite the best efforts of the rider to keep it straight, it shifted out and bumped AMAZING SULTAN (S. G. Prasad) on its outside, at the start. As the incident was purely accidental, no action was taken beside noting the incident.

Jockey Jitendra Singh, the rider of FOREST LAKE was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to ROCK MY HEART (B. Darshan Anthony), on his inside, which in turn passed it onto CALCULUS (Sah Farid Ansari), on its inside, at the start.

It was observed that AMAZING SULTAN (S. G. Prasad) was inclined to run out and in the process, inconvenienced ROCK MY HEART (B.Darshan Anthony) on its outside, between the 900 Metres and 800 Metres.

Jockey M.S. Deora, the rider of ELSA reported that he accidentally dropped his whip approaching 300 Metres.

Jockey A.S. Peter, the rider of CLEAN SLATE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not infusing adequate vigour in riding out his mount in the final 300 Metres of the Race.

Jockey M.S. Deora, the rider of ELSA was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping TRUTH IN WINE (Siddaraju.P) on his outside in the final 150 Metres of the Race.

Jockey Abhishek Mhatre, the rider of BATTALION'S PRIDE reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race and as such, ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Himanshu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
