On a request from Trainer Bezan Chenoy, LA DOLCE VITA was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 08:00 a.m. on 14th August 2026 at the stables and was found to be tied up and sore by right hind. As such, the mare was certified unfit to race, withdrawn on veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, AZELIA (App. S. Siddharth, dr.10) jumped, whipped around and dislodged its rider  thereby taking no practical part in the race, Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show it to the satisfaction of the starter in a mock race, before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, LITTLE JOHN (Anthony Raj S, dr. 3) jumped out awkwardly
 
At the start ANGE RAPHAEL (Ramswarup, dr. 11) jumped, veered out and had to be steadied.
 
Passing the 500 metres BRASILIER (T. S. Jodha) leaned onto MERCHANT OF VENICE (R. Ajinkya) thereby bumping and forcing CHARISSE (Vivek G.) causing both horses to be tightened and checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey T. S. Jodha has been fined Rs 3,000/-.
 
ALLEZ L’ETOILE (P. Trevor) was observed to be inclined outwards in the straight, despite the rider’s efforts. After the race, the gelding was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore. As such, the gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
 After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported the following:
 
 MERCHANT OF VENICE & CHARISSE were trotted at the stables and found to be sound.
 
MAGICAL STAR was observed to have a gum injury.
