Racing Incidents

At the start, EARTH (Prashant P. Dhebe, dr.3) jumped inwards and went across ASHWA PATHAN (Bhawani Singh, dr.2) who was marginally slow to begin.

Passing the 1000 metres, due to a tightly packed field THUNDERING PHEONIX (App. Ramswarup) racing on the haunches of GIACOMO(A.Sandesh) was observed to have clipped the latter, stumble thereby unbalancing its rider and in the process the cross nose band used on the horse was observed to have snapped  rider due to the incident ASHWA PATHAN (Bhawani Singh) racing on the haunches of THUNDERING PHOENIX was inconvenienced and shifted out thereby carrying ASHWA CHANGEZ (P. S. Kaviraj) outwards, causing the latter to e steadied. Jockey A. Sandesh has been cautioned.

After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (TYRANNUS) reported that his mount hung-in throughout the race, despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, the Sr. Veterinary Officer reported the following:

GIACOMO was trotted and found to be sound.
