The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the start of b g SARTAJ ridden by App Mohit Singh and after due enquiry they being satisfied that the start was fair, the ‘all clear’ signal was given.  Further the Stewards ordered the Stipendiary Stewards to enquire into the subsequent indifferent riding of App Mohit Singh. 

The Stipendiary Stewards interviewed Tr. Jasbir Singh and App Mohit Singh and after due enquiry informed Tr. Jasbir Singh that his charges should run and be ridden in such a manner that leaves no room for query and fined App Mohit Singh a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for the indifferent handling of his mount in that while negotiating the final bend he allowed his mount to travel wide for no apparent reason and in the final 400 metres he failed to infuse adequate vigour to his riding.
