RITHAMBHRA (App Rajinder Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

COMBINED OPERATION (App Arman Khan) and JACQUALINE POSTILL (Md Imran) were fractious in their respective stalls.

Approaching the 400 metres ZOFFANY (App Zarar Alam) was carried wide without cover when SPECTACULAR STYLE (Pintu Das)  shifted ‘outwards’ when attempting to make progress.

App Rajinder Singh, the rider of RITHAMBHRA, was reprimanded for sihfting ‘out’ for no apparent reason approaching the 400 metres marker.

Passing the distance post JACQUALINE POSTILL (Md Imran) under the whip shifted ‘outwards’ violently.  Jockey Md. Imran was shown the CCTV replay of the race and advised to report to the Jockey coach Mr. P Alford for guidance in the proper use of the whip.

4^th RACE (12) THE FLOWER DUST HANDICAP – For Horses Rated 21-46, Rated 01-26 eligible – To be ridden by Jockeys of Indian Nationality (About) 1000 Metres (4.15/4.16) : 12 runners

From the test reports dated 01.8.2013 received from The CVRL, EFU Dubai, it was observed that the analysis of the Urine Sample taken from b g ROMANCER, trainer by Mr. E Bhungard and owned by Mr. Dhamendra Singh Panwar had shown the presence of “ISOXSUPRINE”, a Class IV prohibited substance under the Rules of Medication and Treatment of Horses in Training & Racing and Anti Doping Control.  The sample was taken after the gelding’s run in Race No. 12 of the Calcutta Monsoon Meeting 2013 on 24^th July, 2013. 

As the trainer had opted not to send the split sample (B sample) for confirmatory analysis, the Stewards, Royal Calcutta Turf Club, taking into cognizance the result of the ‘A’ sample as final, ordered the disqualification of  b g ROMANCER, placed 9^th by the Judge in the above race and revised the order of placings as under :-
