Racing Incidents

gr g HIGHLAND KING (Gajender Singh) dislodged its rider in the parade ring causing injury to the jockey. As ther e was insufficient time to replace the Jockey, the gelding was withdrawn from the race.

SAM HOUSTON (Md Islam) was fractious in its stall.

DANCEHALL DAYS (B Mahesh) which was very fractious in its stall was slow to begin and ran detached from the field in the earely and middle stages of the race. In view of its behaviour Tr, Manvendra Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until sho wn to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

AITHOPS (Sk Zaffar Riaz) and SUPREME RULER (App Md Azharuddin) were slow to begin.

Jockey Md Islam, the rider of SAM HOUSTON despite several earlier cautions for unnecessarily shouting during the running of the race, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ - for repeating the same.
