Racing Incidents

ch c RAQS SHARQI was examined by the Veterinary Officer at 1.30 P.M. and found to be suffering from dehydration (diarrhoea/purging). Under the circumstances the colt was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

AHLAN (Hindu Singh) arrived late to the start and was fractious while being stalled. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised to ensure that his charge arrives on time in future.

ROYAL CONCERT (Asghar) was fractious in its stall.

TAHMINA (App Rupal Singh) planted and took no practical part in the race. Tr. Jasbir Singh was advised not to accept with the filly until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Jockey Asghar, the rider of ROYAL CONCERT, reported that he lost his stirrup iron on jumping out of the gates and he was unable to recover the same throughout the race.

Jockey Md. Imran, the rider of SECRET BUILDER, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).
