HARRY ANGEL (Md Shabbani) was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

ITSAMOOCOW (App P Vikram) jumped awkwardly from the gates, unbalancing its rider, refused to raise a fluent gallop for some distance and finished the race detached from the field. Tr. R V Gowli was advised not  to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

FEISTY (Mudassar Nazar) was slow to begin.
 
App P Tejeshwar, the rider of POKER PRINCE, reported that his mount was inclined to run ‘out’ throughout the race. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

Tr. Vikash Jaiswal when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge dk b f CALEDONIA (App Hasib Alam) as compared to its previous outings during this season stated that :-

a)    The filly came under his charge approximately two months ago and the Jockeys who rode the filly in Race Nos. 73 and 103 over a distance of 2400 metres and 1600 metres respectively suggested that the filly would perform better if run over a shorter distance. Accordingly I decided to run it in a 1200 metres race today.

b)    Further I declared an apprentice claiming 4 kgs allowance which was also an advantage to the filly.
