Racing Incidents

Tr. Vijay Singh was reprimanded for the late arrival of his charge LITTORIO (A Sandesh) to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainer was further advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future.

RAMIEL jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates.

Jockey A Sandesh, the rider of LITTORIO, reported that his mount dropped out of contention from around the final bend and failed to respond to his urgings in the straight. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the colt and submit his report. On the morning of Sunday, 29th January, 2023 the colt was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on left hind. Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
