Racing Incidents

DEVUSHKA was fractious in its stall and lashed out at the gates. The mare was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Officer, declared fit to race and was re-stalled.

MOUNT RENO was extremely fractious in its stall, reared up and fell down. The gelding was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Officer, declared fit to race, was re-stalled and jumped out awkwardly from the
 
gates. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to give his charge adequate practice before accepting with it again.

Jockey Vinay Jaiswal (LUCKY CHANCE, drawn 5) was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for failing to control his mount which shifted outwards soon after the start causing interference to MOUNT RENO (drawn 6) and DEVUSHKA (drawn 7).

The Veterinary Officer reported that DEVUSHKA returned with a cut injury on left hind.
